I wrote this song about my experience with having to cut off a toxic friendship with someone I really cared about and who was a part of my band. I wrote it for Kevin Abstract because I really related to the way he talked about feeling in his interview with Rick Rubin. Kevin I hope you hear this and know that life will get better and you are not a bad person for setting boundaries and standing up for what you believe in.
